If you're searching for a tranquil, off-grid escape close to the Cornish coastline, Koes Cabin is just the place. Koes, meaning woodland in Cornish, is nestled within a magical 43-acre site in the countryside known as Kudhva. It really is a rather special hideaway for those with adventure in their soul - come and see for yourself…

Inspired by the historic mining engine house within the grounds, bring a few of your friends along for the ultimate back-to-nature getaway. Step inside to find the wonderfully rustic open-plan living area, complete with a breakfast bar island with a Yeti cooler and a camping Gaz stove for simple holiday meals. The cabin's sides open up, ideal for letting the fresh Cornish air flow through on those warm summertime days! Within the cabin, there's also a swinging egg chair, two sofas and a bookshelf for those sweet do-nothing afternoons. Later on, the sofas can be pushed together to create a cosy double bed, or they can be left as two single beds, your choice! Head up the ladder to the mezzanine floor, where you will find two sets of bunk beds. The cabin's lights and plug sockets are solar-powered so you may experience a limited supply during your stay, and there's a private compost loo just a few steps away from the cabin.

Outside of the cabin, you'll find benches and a firepit for unforgettable nights cooking alfresco. Light the firepit and gather around for supper in this spectacular setting.

The Kudhva site is brimming with magic, with a 40ft waterfall, sea views, and beautiful woodland scenery all around. You'll have access to a standing wood-fired hot tub, where you can book an hour-long private session via the owner. In the main reception area, you'll find the communal kitchen and dining area. Here, there are fridges, two gas burners, sinks, a water supply, and kitchen essentials such as plates, cutlery and Moka pots. Enjoy your coffee and dine at one of the picnic tables or large benches and soak up the incredible views over the countryside and out to sea. There's also a shop here where you can buy toiletries, drinks, and Kudhva clothing. A shared block of flushing loos, sinks and hot showers are next door.

You'll have access to complimentary Yallah Coffee and herbal teas throughout your stay, and you can also order a breakfast hamper from a local farm through the Kudhva team. During the summer months, the Field Kitchen on-site is a wonderful place to dine amongst your beautiful surroundings.

You'll find magical Edhen (5723), Reden (5722) and Keynor (5721) treehouses on-site, all sleeping two.

Should you wish to explore, there's much to see and do in the surrounding area. Cornwall's north coast really is spectacular, with its golden sand beaches and sparkling seas. You'll find Trebarwith Sands beach a leisurely 25-minute walk away, ending with a picnic on the sand and dipping your toes in the sea. Go walking on the glorious coast path, visit the seaside towns and villages of Port Isaac and Tintagel, and dine in the wonderful selection of eateries along the north Cornwall coast.

The track to the car park is very bumpy and unsuitable for low vehicles. Please note that the walk between reception and the cabin is steep and through woodland, with uneven terrain. There is no heating or insulation in the cabin, so we recommend taking hot water bottles. Take extra care on the ladder to the mezzanine beds as it's steep. Private one-hour time slots for the hot tub are bookable with the owner, prior to arrival, at £40 an hour. This is an adults-only hideaway.
