Looking for a break that promises rural reveries, beachside bliss, and coastal capers, then treat yourself to a much-deserved break at this little gem of a cottage. Venture along the country lanes to uncover this cute and cosy dog-friendly cottage, perfect for solo getaways and romantic retreats alike. With the wild expanse of Bodmin moor and the ever-popular beaches, towns, and villages of the north coast all within easy access, it's the perfect base for exhilarating adventures.

Nestled on the edge of a communal courtyard, Duck End Cottage is a little gem. Small but oh so perfectly formed, the stylish and comfortable interiors provide the perfect sanctuary in which to relax and unwind from the minute you arrive.

Open plan living is the order of the day with the large squishy sofa, the ultimate snuggle-down spot, taking centre stage. Get creative in the stylish kitchen area using the freshest of produce picked up at a local farm shop all served up on the sweet dining-table or perhaps out in the shared courtyard where you might have the chance to natter with some of the neighbours.

Upstairs the bedroom is quite charming, with its perfectly dressed king-size bed, sweet Juliet balcony and a stylish en suite shower-room.

From this stunning base, your choice of days out are endless. Dust off those walking boots and explore the wild rugged scenery of Bodmin Moor or head to the coast and take on the coastal path that promises stunning vistas around every corner. If you prefer pedal power, the Camel Trail is only half a mile down the road, winding its way through woodlands and along the Camel Estuary eventually bringing you to the popular resort of Padstow where you can refuel on some of Rick Stein's fish and chips before making the return journey.

The historic houses and gardens of Pencarrow and Lanhydrock are well worth a visit as are the pretty fishing villages of Boscastle and Port Isaac, of Doc Martin and Fisherman's Friends fame, and if food is on the agenda this area is the jewel in Cornwall's foodie crown with more celebrity chefs and award-winning eateries than you can shake a stick at.
