SingleThis beautiful home close to Bembridge Harbour is a space to enjoy with family and friends. From exploring the bays and beaches to the rolling countryside and historic castles, Inglefield is the perfect base to enjoy the delights of the Isle of Wight.
The light and airy accommodation has been thoughtfully presented to make you feel at home during your stay. The well-appointed kitchen/diner is a social space where plans for the day can be made over breakfast and memories made at dinner time. The chef of the group won't be disappointed - or lonely - as they cook up a storm in the kitchen. The handy utility-room with washing machine and tumble-drier leads to a shower-room. With doors to the garden those summer nights can be spent enjoying the last of the sun's warmth. For cosier nights in retreat to the sitting-room and curl up with a book and a cuppa, or take a moment to yourself on the window seat that overlooks the village green.
Climbing the elegant stairs you will find the bedrooms. Bedroom one has views over the village green (and another window seat) and its comfy king-size bed is perfect for those holiday lie ins, this room also has an en suite shower-room. For flexible sleeping, bedroom two has a 'zip n link' king-size bed - great for adults and children alike. The smaller members of the party will love the bunk-beds in the third bedroom, and the fourth bedroom has a single bed. The family bathroom finishes off the accommodation.
The garden has a lovely seating space - great for some al fresco dining together in the sun. For those sandy toe moments, the outside shower is a great feature.
St Helens is a neighbour to Bembridge and Seaview villages, both within a few minutes' drive, offering stunning beaches, places to eat and boutique shops. Bembridge has its own local farm shop, cafes, restaurants, a bakery and fishmongers - everything you could need just along the road.
St Helens beach offers a wealth of holiday activities and a fantastic bistro/cafe - Baywatch on the Beach. The beach is acknowledged by the National Trust to be one of the finest places for rock-pooling in southern England. The Duver offers you a myriad of opportunities for spotting birds such as terns, redshank, turnstone, sanderling, curlew and lapwing as well as stonechats and wagtails. The energetic can take advantage of the water sports, cycle hire and sailing activities offered for all ages by Tackt-Isle Adventures on the Duver; gentler pastimes can be enjoyed at the art gallery and the cafe at the Duver Marina. Gardeners will appreciate the two highly regarded plant nurseries within the village - great souvenirs for your own plot!
Inglefield really is the ideal year-round spot to spend your holidays together.
