Spellbinding coastal views, a secluded setting, magical charm and tremendous character - let us introduce you to Deer Park. Tucked away on the dramatic north Cornwall coast, at the end of an unmade track, this hidden away rural retreat sets the scene for family and friends to enjoy coastal adventures, whatever the occasion.

From this enviable location, wander from your holiday door along the path, down to the sea, relax on the terrace gazing out at that memorising view, stretch out along the coastal footpath or enjoy spending time together creating treasured holiday moments.

Warm and welcoming, Deer Park will ease guests straight into a Cornish way of life from the minute they step inside. There's oodles of space for everyone to spread out along with rooms in which to gather, the perfect mix. The kitchen/dining-room will be the heart of the home, with its warming Aga, (don't panic there is a standard cooker, for those who have yet to channel their inner Mary Berry!) and a large dining-table where you are sure to spend many an hour. From here patio doors beckon you out to the terrace and garden, the ideal spot for al fresco dining, or simply relaxing, unwinding and watching the most glorious of sunsets. There's a choice of sitting-rooms, one (the snug) is perfect for when younger members want some time away from the adults! It has comfy sofas gathered around the open fire and shelves full of books and board games for your entertainment, whilst the main sitting-room takes pride of place on the first floor making the most of those views.

The five bedrooms are charming with windows framing countryside and coastal views. The triple aspect main bedroom is wonderfully spacious, with a huge Emperor-size bed and en suite bathroom it's a real treat. There's also a family bathroom on the first floor and one on the ground floor along with a shower-room so plenty of bathing options for a large group.

There is private parking for four cars; steps lead down from the parking-area to the property however it is possible to park lower down in order to have level access if required.

Dare to leave this idyllic haven? Well, should you need further adventures this is a great launch pad for fun-filled days out, that will delight every member of your party.

Just a short distance down the coast and you will find yourself in the charming village of Port Isaac - which has been put well and truly on the tourist map by TV's Doc Martin, The Fisherman's Friends, who occasionally sing on the quayside during the summer, and award-winning celebrity chef Nathan Outlaw, who has not one but two restaurants in the village. There's also a whole host of cafes, pubs and restaurants dotted amongst the traditional fishermen's cottages that line the narrow streets, along with shops and galleries should you want to take some Cornish treasures back home with you.

For adventurous types, you can hook up with the team at Cornish Rock Tors based at the little bay of Port Gaverne to try your hand at coasteering, kayaking, paddle boarding and open water swimming.

For more days at the seaside, surfers will delight at Polzeath, families will relax in the gentler waters at Daymer Bay and Trebarwith Strand is the place for exploring the rock pools.

If you've got the walking bug there are miles of coastal footpath with breathtaking views on offer around every corner and for some fun on two wheels, a cycle along the Camel Trail will not disappoint. Hop on the foot ferry from the sailing centre of Rock over to Padstow, Cornwall's culinary capital or pick up some local ingredients and head back to Deer Park and create some culinary delights of your own.
