Super-kingThis endearing cottage is ideal for a truly wonderful holiday in north Cornwall. So whether you're a walker, a beach lover, a fan of coastal villages and harbours, a foodie, a couple or a solo adventurer, come and escape to Honeysuckle Cottage.
Utterly charming and super cosy, this semi-detached cottage retains many of its traditional features with exposed beams, a huge inglenook fireplace, sloping ceilings (please mind your head) and very thick walls, that create wonderful window seats.
Behind the whitewashed exterior is a surprisingly spacious cottage with a toasty wood-burner taking centre stage in the sitting/dining room, a charming bedroom with a super-king size bed, a useful utility-room and a country-style kitchen.
Outside, relish the chance to relax, soaking up the sunshine on the terrace from your first cuppa of the morning, until sundowners; and don't forget your four-legged friend because they are going to simply love the enclosed garden.
Set along a country road, near the village of St Tudy, you can pop up to the popular community farm shop and cafe to collect your morning pastries, and when you want someone else to cook up your dinner delights, the gastro pub will not disappoint.
Wanting more culinary delights? Well, you are in foodie heaven where everything from scrummy ice cream and Cornish pasties (Aunt Avice's at St Kew Highway are just great, to Michelin Star restaurants are here for the tasting. Whether you head to Rick Stein's at Padstow, Nathan Outlaw's at Port Isaac, the renowned St Kew Inn, or the farm shops at St Kew Highway or Boscastle - your choice is endless.
But before food you might want to build up an appetite, so pop on those walking boots to march across open moorland or the coastal footpath, cycle along the Camel Trail, maybe stop off for a cream tea or award-winning wine along the way, or discover tales of Arthurian myth and legend as you climb up to Tintagel Castle, the so-called birthplace of King Arthur.
You can savour more walking around the gardens and historic houses at Pencarrow, Prideaux Place and Lanhydrock and for adrenalin junkies, the waves at Trebarwith and Polzeath are exhilarating.
