Situated in the friendly village of Tregony at the 'Gateway to the Roseland peninsula' you will find Frogmore Barn, a perfectly formed detached single-storey holiday home. Whether visiting this beautiful part of Cornwall for a few days or longer and at any time of the year, you will find everything you need in this lovely property.

Flooded with light due to its vaulted ceiling, bright decoration and generous use of glass, this contemporary and comfortable space oodles character from its exposed roof beams to the use of stonework on the outside of the barn. A raised terrace is the ideal spot for that morning coffee or a bite to eat at any time of the day, then spend some time exploring your private garden where you will find space to relax in the sunshine with a good book or to practice your morning Tai Chi, yoga stretches or sun salutation.

The keen cooks in the party will love the open plan kitchen space, spend time chatting about the day you've all enjoyed whilst preparing the evening meal, dine together in style at the farmhouse table before retiring to one of the three comfy sofas to continue the conversation. For those who still enjoy playing games, the barn is equipped with lots of games including its very own table football, what could be better than a friendly challenge and the winning prize could be breakfast in bed!

When it's time to recharge, head off to one of the three comfortable bedrooms, the largest double room with en suite shower-room plus a further double and a twin that share the bathroom. Earthy tones to the furnishings, comfy mattresses dressed in crisp white linens and fluffy pillows, all go a long way to aid a good night's sleep.

The village of Tregony has a friendly village pub and local convenience store so you don't need to go far for a few supplies or to enjoy a tasty home cooked meal. From this great location you have easy access to a wide choice of places to visit, a short drive takes you to the beaches and pretty coastal villages of Portscatho and St Mawes on the Roseland peninsula, the grounds of Caerhays Castle and the pretty harbour town of Mevagissey.

The charming village of Tregony, on the banks of the Fal River, is definitely a place worth exploring for its unusual clock tower and 17th Century almshouses. There is a local shop, ideal for those holiday essentials, and the Kings Arms pub which has a lovely walled garden for those all-important holiday refreshments. Known as the gateway to the Roseland, Tregony is perfectly placed for exploring the wonders of the area. The Roseland peninsula is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (now known as National Landscapes), the most stunning countryside and coastline is virtually on your doorstep. Make the most of this by trekking the coastal paths and discovering secret coves, secluded beaches and beautifully clear waters.

The fishing village of Portscatho is a short car journey away where you will find one of the most unspoilt seaside villages in Cornwall. The famous Hidden Hut is located overlooking Porthcurnick beach where guests sit side by side on wooden benches and enjoy dining on local delights (booking is essential on feast nights). If you are looking for a day out, why not catch the passenger ferry from St Mawes over the estuary to Falmouth where a great range of local independent shops await, or why not head into the Cathedral City of Truro and check what is on at the theatre.

This area is also not short of gorgeous gardens and flora to take in, with The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Caerhays Castle and Trewithen Gardens all close by. Trelissick, Trebah Gardens and of course the mighty Eden Project biomes are also just a short drive away.

Whether looking for an adventure or a relaxing break, Frogmore Barn is sure to be the perfect Cornwall base.
