Perched high on the hill with the most wonderful and panoramic sea views and surrounded by the beautiful landscaped gardens, sits Farfield, a very special holiday home.

Accessed down a private driveway in one of the most sought-after locations on the Roseland, guests can be sitting at The Hidden Hut or down on the beach within a few minutes' walk. Perfect for families or a group of friends, this handsome house offers guests space to relax, to socialise and to play. Two sitting-rooms, a sun-room, four comfortable bedrooms, three bathrooms and a wonderful spacious garden surrounding the house, so many options on where to spend your free time.

When you return from a day on the beach or walking the coast paths, take off your sandy shoes in the boot-room and with a handy utility, any salty or muddy clothes can go straight into the washing machine, get them out on the line and they'll be dry in minutes!

When the eyes start getting heavy, head up to one of the four spacious bedrooms on the first floor, the largest of which is complete with a super-king size bed, an enormous en suite bathroom and the most fabulous sea views. Bedroom two with a king-size bed and stylish en suite shower-room also enjoys spectacular views. With space for adults or children, bedroom three with comfortable twin single beds and double-aspect windows, enjoys the views in both directions. The fourth bedroom, a second twin room, is the cosier option for one or two guests.

The cooks in the party will love spending time in the super spacious kitchen, whether rustling up a light breakfast or a three-course evening meal, this well-equipped and sociable space definitely makes cooking a pleasure, add responsibly sourced local produce from the nearby farm shop at Curgurrell and you could be in food heaven. If you prefer to leave the food preparation and cooking to the professionals, head down to the village or across to nearby St Mawes and enjoy local produce cooked well in the many friendly pubs, restaurants and hotels.

Whatever your pleasure and however you like to spend your down time, a holiday at Farfield has it all and a bit more, this super house is likely to become a regular favourite for many years to come.

Head down to Porthcurnick beach and grab a bite to eat or a warming beverage on chillier days at the famous Hidden Hut beach cafe, offering the finest local produce. Feast nights are also available here; however booking is essential. The nearby Driftwood hotel offers outstanding dining at the restaurant, perfect for that special holiday meal out.

Curgurrell Farm Shop is also worth a visit if you are looking to cook up a feast at home, situated overlooking Gerrans Bay you will be spoilt for choice with locally-caught fish and shellfish, artisan breads and cakes, home reared lamb and homegrown fruit and vegetables.

The nearby coast path at the bottom of the garden allows you to explore the magnificent scenery the Roseland has to offer, including many secret coves and sandy beaches, whilst taking in the sea air. If you are looking for something more active to fill your time, why not hire a kayak or paddle board from Portscatho or Percuil and explore on the water.

For those days out why not explore slightly further afield and visit the biomes of the Eden Project and the fabulous flora on display, or perhaps head to The Lost Gardens of Heligan, lost in time since WWI, discovered 30 years ago and now restored to their former glory.

However, you choose to spend your time in Cornwall, Farfield is sure to be the perfect place to stay.
