KingCome and spoil yourself at Mandalay - our super stylish retreat with stunning interiors, far reaching views, a bubbling hot tub, cosy wood-burner and three gorgeous bedrooms each with their own en suite - it's a special place for family and friends to gather for a memorable holiday.
Set on the edge of the moorland village of St Breward, home to Cornwall's highest pub The Old Inn, wrap yourself in a slice of luxury with impeccably presented interiors befitting of an interior design magazine…even the cloakroom and utility-room are stylish. All on one level, the open plan living-room is the main event with huge windows that frame the breathtaking view, it's the perfect excuse to simply relax and take it all in. The sleeping sanctuaries have super comfy beds adorned with plump cushions and gorgeous throws and bedspreads, for when you need an extra snuggly layer. Large sliding doors make the rooms light and airy and invite you to step out with a wake-me-up cuppa or a relaxing nightcap.
Mandalay is made for outdoor moments, whether relaxing in the sunshine or al fresco dining on the large decking area, enjoying a moonlit soak beneath star studded skies in the hot tub or singing around the toasty fire-pit on chillier nights.
Perfectly positioned to explore the best of the moor and with easy access to the delights of the north Cornish coast, this special sanctuary offers the best of both worlds.
Bodmin Moor is a hiker's paradise with 100 square miles of dramatic wilderness and stunning scenery to explore; there is nothing more exhilarating than galloping across the moor on horseback, so why not join a group at the local riding stables.
If you want to revert to pedal power the renowned Camel Trail starts at nearby Wenford Bridge, where you can fill up on a hearty breakfast at the Snail's Pace cafe, before you start winding your way through wooded valleys and countryside eventually cycling along the banks of the Camel Estuary as you arrive at the foodie heaven of Padstow. For more trails Cardinham Woods and Lanhydrock will delight and whilst at Lanhydrock take time to explore the parkland, gardens and historic house.
Take things a little easier with a day out at the great houses and gardens of Pencarrow and Lanhydrock, or take a wander around the pretty fishing villages of Port Isaac and Boscastle.
Head to the north coast and wander the pretty fishing villages of Port Isaac and Boscastle, discover Arthurian legends at Tintagel and enjoy an exhilarating stomp along the coastal path. For a day at the seaside, Daymer Bay is a family favourite and riding the waves is a must at stunning Polzeath.
