Hidden at the end of a country lane, surrounded by glorious countryside in a small hamlet, Trekenner Barn offers the ultimate hideaway perfect for fun summer holidays filled with days out or the cosiest of winter weekend escapes where you can star watch from the hot tub. A short drive away you will discover the breathtaking Atlantic Coast where you will find picture-perfect beaches or coast paths. No matter the season the great outdoors offers endless options. For an indulgent Sunday head to Treguddick gin distillery to enjoy a delicious roast or a rather delicious cream tea!
The warm and welcoming sitting-room offers the perfect spot to snuggle into the cosy sofa and escape into a book or indulge in a film with your favourite tipple. Just off the sitting-area the kitchen/diner offers the perfect spot to cook up a storm with local produce from one of the many surrounding farm shops - when it comes to culinary delights Cornwall is firmly on the map!
Head up the stairs to discover the blissful bedroom, the sumptuous 'zip and link' super-king bed also offers the versatility of being the perfect three-foot twin bedroom. No matter the combination, the crisp linens and muted tones offer the perfect remedy for a blissful night's sleep.
From the living area step out on to the extended decking, breathe in the fresh air whilst delighting in a beautiful garden and a perfectly positioned pond where you will be sure to spot a curious dragonfly! When on holiday luxury can only mean one thing and that's a hot tub! The ideal spot to relax after a day of walking and exploring! Or simply fire up the barbecue, sit back and enjoy a sundowner. You really could park up and not leave Trekenner Barn should the mood take you!
There are great countryside walks right on the doorstep and, further afield, the wild rugged landscapes of Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor are a walker's paradise. Grand designs of bygone days and beautiful gardens are aplenty with Cotehele, Castle Drogo and Lanhydrock House to name but a few and the coasts beckon with surfers riding the waves at Bude, Widemouth Bay and Polzeath on the north and maritime history galore at Charlestown and Plymouth on the south.
Children are sure to enjoy a ride on the local steam railway that winds its way along the glorious Kensey Valley, stopping off at New Mills Farm Park, where you can pet the animals.
