Pheasant Cottage is a charming and cosy retreat nestled in the beautiful rear garden of the owners' property and located in Tealby, the most beautiful village in the Lincolnshire Wolds. The interior is tastefully decorated with modern furnishings, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. With many bespoke features including under-floor heating, secret drawers in the stairs and a beautiful stone fireplace this is a great place to stay and discover the delights of Lincolnshire.

Walk into the open plan contemporary living space, designed to create a seamless flow between different areas of the cottage. The sleek kitchen-area has everything you need to cook up a treat. Why not try some local produce and enjoy a meal sitting on the extended breakfast-bar. At the heart of the living area is a wood-burner, providing warmth and a rustic ambiance during colder months. The crackling fire adds a touch of charm to the space, perfect for cosying up with a book or enjoying a glass of wine in the evenings.

A set of bespoke wooden stairs with built-in storage drawers leads down to the bedroom. The cottage boasts a delightful bedroom with an en suite shower. The bedroom is thoughtfully furnished, offering a tranquil space for rest and relaxation. The en suite shower, with its minimalist pocket sliding door, ensures convenience and privacy, providing a refreshing start to the day or a rejuvenating cleanse after a long day of exploration.

Around the cottage are mature gardens, bursting with vibrant colours and fragrant flowers. The gardens offer a serene setting, where you can take leisurely strolls, grill your Lincolnshire sausages on the barbecue, or simply sit and enjoy the peacefulness of nature. A patio-area is also available, providing an ideal spot for al fresco dining or enjoying a cup of tea in the sunshine or just relaxing on the loungers.

The location of the cottage is also a highlight, as it is situated near the famous Kings Head pub, one of the oldest thatched pubs in the country. Next door to the cottage you will find The Vintage Tearoom, drop by to taste one of the sumptuous cream cakes. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty meal or a delightful afternoon tea, these nearby establishments provide convenient options for dining and socialising. The village has historic links to Alfred Lord Tennyson as the family who owned property in the area and provided the village hall and school. Further afield is the town of Market Rasen with many amenities, including the racecourse. Why not visit on race day and have a flutter or just enjoy the atmosphere.
