A peaceful, off-grid adventure awaits at River Safari, a special safari tent for four nestled within 2,500 acres of private estate. Wander over the bridge to find your escape, hidden away on the banks of the River Wye in the secluded Herefordshire countryside. Just the place to switch off and embrace true country life…

Step inside to find a cosy, welcoming hideaway. Full of rustic charm, the whole family is sure to love the open plan living space, with a beautiful wooden dining-table and chairs, comfortable sofa and coffee table, wood-burner, and sweet kitchen-area with a kettle, sink, gas oven, hob and a fridge. Here you can gather together for breakfast and supper and take some time to relax at the end of an adventurous day. The children will love the cute bunk-bed den, curtained off in the main living space, and next door you'll find the private double room - complete with a gorgeous hand-crafted wooden bed. Your wonderfully peaceful surroundings are sure to lull you into a restful night's sleep! Outside, you'll find a cabin with a spacious shower, loo and sink.

The private outside space is just glorious, with peace and tranquility all around. There's a picnic bench perched next to the river for lazy lunches in the sunshine, a fire-pit for cooking up a feast or simply staying cosy at night, and plenty of space to simply unwind, play games and enjoy that fresh, country air. And as night falls, the safari tent is lit by solar and candles, and being completely off-grid, this really is a true glamping experience!

If you fancy exploring your local area, there are endless countryside walks to discover nearby, alongside a number of pretty villages and vibrant market towns. Canoe or walk along the River Wye, and if you're craving more beautiful scenery, the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Brecon Beacons makes for a fantastic day trip - perfect for blissful picnics and hearty stomps in the countryside. The National Trust's The Weir Garden and Berrington Hall are nearby, and well worth exploring during your stay. The city of Hereford is also within easy reach, with a fantastic choice of independent shops, art galleries and eateries, and Hereford Cathedral and The Cider Museum. And if you love getting lost in a good book, pay a visit to Hay-on-Wye for its fantastic selection of bookshops and world-famous literary festival
