TwinWoodville Cottage is a pretty and charming property, an annexe to a Grade II Listed Georgian building. Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the elegant seaside town of Lyme Regis, yet within walking distance of the beaches, pretty harbour and high street, it's the perfect escape for visiting both the Jurassic Coast and the Dorset countryside.
From here you can explore Lyme Regis' historic seafront, stretching round to the famous Cobb, which has been protecting the harbour for centuries. With its maze of streets, shops and cafes alongside the sandy beach, its seaside heritage has been preserved. Within a short drive is the market town of Bridport, where you will find its twice-weekly market and artisan quarter a delight to wander through.
After a day of adventures head back to Woodville Cottage to relax and unwind. Inside this comfortable space you will find everything you need; a light living and dining-area with seating for four guests alongside the well-equipped kitchen.
The hallway winds it way to the comfy bedrooms: the main bedroom with king-size bed and an extra TV. Woodville Cottage also benefits from a family bathroom alongside a separate shower-room, offering great flexibility for guests, sleeping four guests across three bedrooms. The cottage is very accessible; set across ground floor only, however, there is one internal step from the living/dining-area that people with mobility issues may find more challenging.
From the light open plan living space, the doors open out into a private terrace; a sun-trap to sit out in for morning coffee, afternoon tea or a summer barbecue and from where you can also enjoy the view towards Lyme Bay and Golden Cap. A gate leads to the adjacent parking-area with dedicated parking space.
The coast path is not far from the property and you can head inland over the rolling hills. The county town of Dorchester is within 40 minutes' drive away where you can take in the Roman Townhouse, shopping and dining at Brewery Square or pop on the train to the sandy beaches at Weymouth.
Dorset's countryside, stunning coastline and friendly towns are all waiting to welcome you.
