Perfectly positioned in the heart of the much sought-after seaside village of St Mawes, Little Cottage is a charming Cornish cottage, beautifully furnished and just moments away from several gorgeous beaches, the harbour, shops and restaurants. St Mawes has everything you need for the very best Cornish holiday and Little Cottage, with oodles of rustic charm and cosy stylish interiors, is the perfect place for a getaway with family or friends.

Little Cottage sits in an enviable position just a short walk up the hill from the harbour in a pretty row of similar cottages, steps lead up from the road to the front terrace and as soon as you step over the threshold you will realise you are somewhere very special. Sympathetically restored and beautifully furnished with comfort in mind, Little Cottage has all the ingredients for the perfect holiday. The open plan ground floor is gorgeous, with comfy sofas and a wood-burner to keep you cosy throughout the seasons. Tucked under the stairs is a handy second WC. Up three steps the kitchen/diner is a great social space where guests can gather round the table to chat whilst the chef creates a culinary masterpiece and there's even a dishwasher so no squabbling over the washing up here!

Head upstairs to the first floor where two bedrooms and the family bathroom await. The double bedroom with king-size bed is beautifully furnished in nautical blue hues, sitting at the front of the cottage the bedroom enjoys stunning views of St Mawes harbour. There's even a cute window seat in this bedroom for a quiet read or perhaps morning coffee. The twin bedroom overlooks the gardens to the rear and this room is ideal for either children or adults, a stable-door leads out to the garden. The well-presented bathroom has a bath with shower over so you can choose between a long soak or a refreshing shower after a busy beach day.

Outside Little Cottage you have the luxury of choosing to dine al fresco either on the front terrace or in a secluded spot in the back garden surrounded by shrubs and trees, wherever the sun is shining you can follow the rays! Whether you plan to spend your Cornish getaway enjoying this charming village or travel further afield to explore the many delights of Cornwall, special memories will be made at Little Cottage.

St Mawes is a great place for a holiday and with a bustling harbour, fabulous sandy beaches and a good selection of places to eat, it's easy to see why. Water sports enthusiasts will love paddle boarding and kayaking around the sheltered coves and inlets around the coast or perhaps take the passenger ferry across the waters to the maritime town of Falmouth. Foodies have some great options when it comes to dining out, from fish and chips eaten from the paper on the harbour wall to fine dining and everything in between.

History buffs should climb the hill to the magnificent St Mawes Castle, beautifully kept by English Heritage and well worth the walk for the view across the bay to St Anthony Head alone! The Roseland is a walker's paradise so don't forget your walking boots and discover miles of coast path, secret coves, and fishing villages.

A short drive away Portscatho beckons with pretty beaches and the renowned Hidden Hut overlooking Porthcurnick beach where guests sit side by side on wooden benches and enjoy the freshest of local produce. Further afield the mighty biomes of the Eden Project make for an interesting day out for all the family, or perhaps The Lost Gardens of Heligan, left to ruin in WW1, discovered and restored to their former glory thirty years ago.

However, you plan to spend your precious holiday time, a getaway at Little Cottage will be remembered for ever.
