Lower Barn

Tucked away in a secluded position on a working farm, Lower Barn is a cosy countryside hideaway, nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in east Devon. A simply lovely choice any time of the year, this comfortable barn is in a great spot for both enjoying a slice of tranquility and exploring your wonderful surroundings.

Make your way through the pretty countryside lanes and arrive to your rural escape. Sleeping four and single-storey, Lower Barn is a great option for small families or perhaps a romantic getaway with your favourite person. However, if you have extended family or friends who would like to enjoy the experience and magic of Logshayne Farm, The Barn (as mentioned below) is situated above Lower Barn and can accommodate a further six lucky guests. Step inside to discover the warm and welcoming interiors, starting with the well-equipped kitchen for preparing fresh, local produce and the cosy dining and living space perfect for enjoying delicious feasts or relaxing on the comfortable sofas after a day spent discovering your beautiful setting.

You're sure to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep in one of the lovely bedrooms. Bedroom one is a light and spacious room, with a sumptuous king-size bed and a stylish en suite shower-room, and the second bedroom is a cheerful twin room, with a fantastic en suite bathroom.

Outside, there are a couple of choices for places to sit back and enjoy the sunshine. You're welcome to make use of the sunny shared seating-area, ideal for sun-soaked afternoons, and there's also a very sweet private seating-area, perfect for relaxing and planning tomorrow's adventures. We must also mention the fabulous shared games-room - there's plenty to keep you entertained for hours on end! And in addition to the shared games-room you'll also find a tranquil fishing lake. There are three properties at Logshayne Farm and guests staying here have sole use of the farm's coarse fishing lake (which is just outside of the farm grounds), which is stocked with roach, carp and perch.

Should you wish to bring along extended family or friends, there are two other fabulous cottages available on-site, Stable Tallet (1719) and The Barn (4982). Both offer a superior standard of accommodation and fabulous surroundings - the perfect formula for that very special occasion.
