Nestled in a gorgeous glade, Turner Hall is a beautiful woodland cottage, elegantly furnished and perfectly positioned in a tranquil setting with a dreamy hot tub, oodles of space and a very special woodland shepherd's hut, and all on the doorstep of beautiful Dartmoor.

Turner Hall is a very special countryside retreat, surrounded by woodland and teeming with wildlife, where family and friends will discover the perfect relaxing getaway throughout the year, and even your four-legged friends will be made most welcome.

The ground floor open plan living area at Turner Hall has been beautifully created by the talented owners to offer a luxurious and relaxing stay. The double height ceilings with hanging statement lighting are criss-crossed with characterful beams and triple-aspect windows overlook a verdant world of peace and tranquility. In the sitting-area, comfy sofas invite you to snuggle down and relax to watch a movie on the Smart TV and the wood-burner will keep you cosy throughout the seasons.

The farmhouse kitchen table is the perfect place to gather everyone around to chat about the adventures of the day, or perhaps plan your next hike or bike ride. The chef will love the kitchen area, with all the equipment you will need including a gorgeous electric range cooker and of course the all-important dishwasher.

Down the corridor two lovely bedrooms await, pretty bedroom one has a 'zip and link' bed giving you the flexibility to choose and a gorgeous bathroom, ideal for a long soak after a day of exploring. Bedroom two has a lovely outlook, feature iron bedstead and an en suite shower-room which has discreetly designed to be disabled friendly for those who are less mobile. Take the open-tread spiral staircase from the living area to the mezzanine level and bedroom three is revealed, a fabulous space with super en suite shower-room. For extra occasional sleeping, this bedroom can also offer a small sofa bed on request. Bedroom four can be found in the charming shepherd's hut, with a sitting-area, wood-burner and separate shower-room, this is bound to become the favoured choice.

Explore the beautiful grounds and the blissful wood-fired hot tub can be found in a secluded spot tucked away in the woods, perfect for an evening star watching. With a dining-table and barbecue, this blissful space is simply wonderful for children and dogs to let off steam. There is a trickling stream running through the garden and if there is water flowing, please use the stepping stones to reach the hot tub. With masses of outdoor space, gorgeous cosy interiors and a quirky fourth bedroom in a cabin, Turner Hall is the perfect holiday retreat where everyone will want to return year after year. There is an added bonus, sharing this glorious site on Dartmoor is a children's activity centre, where you and your family can pre-book activities and enjoy the fun at your leisure.

Sitting on the edge of Dartmoor, Turner Hall is ideally positioned on the outskirts of the pretty village of Haytor Vale on the edge of Dartmoor. The traditional village pub, The Rock Inn, is the ideal place to dine if the chef wants a night off, or perhaps try the Moorland Hotel, just a short stroll away and perfect for either traditional dining, or for a more relaxed brasserie try the Tinpickle and Rhum. Dogs are very welcome here.

The surrounding countryside is simply stunning with vast moorland, wooded valleys and interesting geology in abundance. Iconic Dartmoor ponies run free here and the views are breathtaking at any time of year. Walkers and cyclists can discover miles of tracks and trails all over Dartmoor and beyond. Pull on your boots and head for Haytor Rock, quite literally on the doorstep and at 1550ft the climb is worth it for glorious views towards south Devon to Torbay and beyond. Becky Falls is just two and a half miles away, with sparkling waterfalls and woodlands the whole family will enjoy a visit here. For the adventurers in the group, kayaking, bouldering, climbing and wild swimming are all part of the magic of Dartmoor or perhaps you would prefer a change of scene and head off for a beach day on the stunning south Devon coast.

Ullacombe Farm Shop is a short drive away and the ideal place to stock up on fresh local Devonshire produce, and if you're feeling peckish, there's a lovely cafe serving delicious homemade food. Or perhaps visit Ashburton, a vibrant town on the southerly side of Dartmoor with a good range of shops and galleries.

Dartmoor is a wonderful place for a getaway and Turner Hall has all the ingredients for the perfect holiday.
