Heading out in the opposite direction from the harbour will find yourself at the glorious and secluded coves of Fishcombe and Churston, these majestically formed coves prove a real hit with the locals when it comes to a spot of sunbathing, a dip in the sea or a picnic on the beach. Or treat yourself to a walk around the historic Battery Gardens, where many years ago, as far back as the 1780s, this area was alive with military action; most significantly remembered for its role providing a Coastal Defence Battery in World War II.

Or perhaps you just want to dive straight into the hustle and bustle of characterful Brixham harbourside. Fine dining restaurants and traditional fishermen's pubs are plentiful on the harbourside, and only a short car journey will find you in the heart of some of the most delightful and popular south Devon villages and towns, such as Dartmouth, Totnes, Shaldon and Kingsbridge.

Foxes Cove is located in the Furzeham area of Brixham, the surrounding roads offer the largest availability of unrestricted street parking within Brixham. Parking can almost always be found on North Furzeham Road, a flat 1- 5 minute walk from the house. The owners also offer a permit which is valid at all Torbay Council Car Parks.
