Located in a quiet spot of popular Tintagel, yet a mere hop and a skip from all the delights of the village, Kaja is waiting to welcome friends and family looking for a great holiday in north Cornwall; oh, and your furry friends are most welcome too. Named after the Cornish for daisy, Kaja certainly is as fresh as one, brand spanking new with light and refreshing interiors, so you can kick back and relax from the minute you arrive.

Everyone can help prepare the holiday meals in the kitchen/dining-room but quite frankly with a choice of eating places right on your doorstep, no-one will blame you if it's simply used for breakfast!

On sunny days, open up the patio doors from the sitting-room that lead out to the garden to relax with a good holiday read or perhaps to indulge in a scrummy Cornish cream tea - jam first please.

At the end of the day and after all that sea air, the three bedrooms on the first floor will be a welcome sight and keep you as snug as a bug ahead of further adventures in the morning.

And where will those adventures take you? With so much on offer, moments from your door, you could give the car a holiday as well. Head into the village to discover legends and history by the bucketful at The Old Post Office (National Trust) or Tintagel Castle (English Heritage), the legendary home of King Arthur and Merlin's Cave. Don't forget your walking boots as the coastal footpath is a must and one of the best ways to reach the pretty village of Boscastle with its tiny harbour and quaint cottages, taking in Rocky Valley along the way.

For riding the waves or building castles in the sand, Trebarwith Strand and Crackington Haven are close by and picture-perfect Port Isaac, home of Nathan Outlaw's restaurants and The Fisherman's Friends, is a real treat.
