Nestled in a charming Cornish hamlet and surrounded by beautiful countryside and views over historic woodland, is this really stylish, pretty as a picture, dog-friendly cottage. Behind the stone facade of this quintessential detached cottage, is an utterly charming retreat, with exquisite and surprisingly light and spacious interiors and large garden, it's a very special place to create treasured holiday memories.

The gorgeous kitchen is the heart of the home, with wonderful views over the garden and taking centre stage is a fantastic breakfast-bar, perfect to pull up a pew with a morning coffee or a quick snack. For more formal meals, the dining-room is the place to gather, to indulge in that delicious 'Full English' to set you up for the day and sociable dinners chatting about your holiday adventures. After dinner, retire to the sitting-room and sink into the cosy sofas as you throw another log onto the wood-burner, the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring the best that this part of Cornwall has to offer. Enjoy a peaceful hour or two unwinding in this lovely room taking time to just switch off. Just off the kitchen (up a little step) there's a little snug room, ideal for younger members to escape from the adults, who themselves can then take a well-earned rest.

Upstairs, the delights continue with four beautiful bedrooms waiting to greet you and the gorgeous family bathroom, with its fabulous free-standing bath. The main bedroom is an absolute delight, with a sumptuous super-king double bed, perfect for sinking into at the end of the day, and a lovely window seat where you can while away an hour or two getting lost in a good book or gazing out at the glorious views that surround. This wonderful room also has a gem of an en suite shower-room. The other three bedrooms are simply divine, one with a comfy king-size bed and the other two having 'zip and link' beds that can be set up as twin beds or put together as a king-size in one room and a super-king in the other, offering great flexibility - the choice is yours.

Step outside and the enclosed garden perfectly complements the house. Beautifully presented with a large lawned area that will delight young and old alike and a sunny terrace so you can enjoy meals in the great outdoors. It's the perfect place to soak up the sun, light up the barbecue or fire-pit and enjoy a sociable evening of chatting, sipping hot chocolate and toasting a marshmallow or two.

Dreamy Well Cottage is tucked away in the very pretty hamlet of Burlawn, where peace and tranquility abound, yet the delights of the popular north Cornwall coast are close at hand. Don't forget your walking boots because right on your doorstep you have two lush woodlands, Hustyns Wood and Bishops Wood, both full of wildlife and walks for all abilities or why not pick up the Saints Way - a 27 mile route stretching right across Cornwall from Padstow to Fowey on the south coast - don't try it all in one day!

Beach days are plentiful with eight stunning beaches all nearby, so you can pick a different one each day! For starters, enjoy paddling in the sheltered waters at Daymer Bay or riding the waves at Polzeath and if for more fun on the water, head to Rock to try your hand at sailing. Spend the day at trendy Padstow, where culinary delights abound, and closer to home is the lively town of Wadebridge. Both offer independent shopping, a great choice of pubs, cafes and restaurants, a calendar of festivals and events and access to the renowned Camel Trail.

The historic houses and gardens of Prideaux Place, Trerice and Lanhydrock are well worth a visit and for more culture the Cathedral City of Truro beckons.
