Mount Lookout does exactly what it says on the tin! You'll want for nothing at this cute-as-pie glamping pod, fully equipped for all of your holiday needs.
Wonderfully fitted-out inside, there is under-floor heating to keep you toasty in the cooler months and a TV to snuggle up in front of on cosy nights in. The compact but well-equipped kitchen area has a cooker, microwave, fridge and kettle (for that all-important morning cuppa!) and there is a dining-area too, for when you are tucking into a scrumptious meal.
There is, of course, a sparkling white shower-room complete with hot and cold running water, flushing loo and heated towel rail. When it comes to turning in, the sofa converts to a double bed with ease and there is a comfy double bed at the back of the pod too, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring.
Outside is just as special as inside at Mount Lookout - first and foremost you will never tire of the spectacular view, running from the Lizard peninsula in the east, with majestic St Michael's Mount in the middle to Mousehole in the west. A fabulous hot tub has been installed and a fire-pit barbecue is provided for rustling up some supper (or toasting marshmallows!) and there is outside dining furniture for you to sit back and relax on.
Also snuggled into this spacious meadow are Scenic Bay and Coastal Gaze - Mount Lookout is the furthest of the three and each have their own private areas.
There is plenty to see and do nearby, if you can bear to tear yourselves away! If you are seeking adventure, why not try your hand at surfing - there are lots of renowned surfing beaches within easy reach, including Sennen Cove, Gwithian and Porthcurno, so you'll be spoilt for choice (these are great for bucket and spade days too!).
Seeing as you will be spending so much time gazing at the stupendous view from your cosy retreat, it would be rude not to pay a visit to the star of the show, majestic St Michael's Mount. This really is a must-see - you can walk over to the Mount and explore the castle at low tide (or hop on a boat at high tide) - and there is a great beach there too (dog-friendly out-of-season).
If you want to get out and about by foot, the 'St Michael's Way' footpath is close by, leading to the ever-popular town of St Ives in one direction and the bustling seaside town of Penzance in the other (both well-worth a visit and easily reached by car too). If you're after some culture, the charming fishing village of Mousehole is close by or why not go and see a show at the incredible Minack Theatre.
If you want to venture a little further afield, the Cathedral City of Truro is around a 40 minute drive away (perfect for a spot of retail therapy!) and a ferry sails daily from nearby Penzance to the idyllic Isles of Scilly.
Closer to home, the local pub, The White Hart, is less than half a mile away, perfect for enjoying a hearty meal after a day of exploring, and the wonderful Sculpture Gardens at Tremenheere, complete with lovely on-site cafe, are well worth a visit.
