This is a beach house in every sense of the word, with light, bright open spaces, indoor-outdoor living on the private roof-deck lounge and views to leave you speechless. Giant windows frame expansive ocean views, and the crash of the waves is your holiday soundtrack. Slickly finished and decorated in white with bright splashes of colour, this spectacular house has it all.

The chill-out roof terrace above the garage is the place to be; sip a cool cocktail in summer or warm your hands on a hot chocolate when the sun goes down, perfect for an evening with friends and family under the Cornish night sky whilst creating some very special holiday memories that will last a lifetime.

The gorgeous bedrooms are all on the ground floor and are stylishly furnished with comfy beds topped by crisp white linens, very inviting after a day out exploring or relaxing on the beach; the owners have definitely succeeded in creating a luxury holiday haven with the essence of their favourite Cornish hotel.

The family-friendly sandy beach at Portreath is popular with sunbathers, sandcastle builders and surfers alike; at certain times of year, at high tide when there is a big swell, the resort is visited by keen body boarders who come to surf the harbour wall to ride 'The Vortex'.

There are several beach shops, a bakery, cafes and a village pub, all of which cater for most needs of their visitors whilst not being over-commercialised.

For those wanting to be active both on and off the water, why not bring or hire a bicycle as some of the old tram-roads previously used for transporting ore from the mines have been transformed into cycle paths and you can now go from the north coast to the south on wheels or by foot, or stay closer to home and enjoy the sights right on your doorstep.
