Grade II Listed Molly’s Barn is delightful, set in a quiet rural location within an easy drive of the north Cornish coast. This gorgeous reversed level cottage has a stylish open plan living-room with oak-flooring, a deep blue sofa and chairs, a well-equipped kitchen and terrific artwork by three generations of the owners’ talented family. For a relaxing sleep, the charming bedrooms both have en suite facilities, one has a king-size and the other 'zip and link' beds providing either a 5’ king-size or 2’6" twin beds.

Steps from the living-room lead out to the enclosed patio – perfect for enjoying the best of the Cornish sunshine, having a barbecue or simply chilling out in the hot tub – bliss. It’s an ideal base for a memorable Cornish holiday, and for two families wishing to holiday together, The Old Dairy (2902) is next door.

Molly’s Barn is perfectly situated for visiting all parts of Cornwall. Beautiful Bodmin Moor is very close by and is ideal for walking and horse riding. Totally unspoilt with high tors, wild ponies and a wealth of archaeological sites, it is well worth exploring.

The barn’s owners, who live down the lane, also have a large field where kids and dogs can charge around to let off steam, shared with guests at The Old Dairy (2902). You are also welcome to play football, cricket etc in the field. There is a great pub just over a mile down the road which does gorgeous food and of course the beaches and attractive fishing villages of the north coast are well worth a visit. Port Isaac, made famous by the Doc Martin series, Trebarwith Strand, a spectacular long sandy beach, Boscastle and Polzeath – you are spoilt for choice.

For those who enjoy their food, there are lots of good restaurants to try – Rick Stein has several establishments as does Nathan Outlaw in Rock and Port Isaac, but there are plenty of lesser known eateries within easy distance. So whether you want to surf, walk, cycle or just enjoy good food, there is something nearby for you all when you stay in Molly’s Barn.
