TwinFor a tranquil escape away from it all, Grascott Cottage is the perfect choice. This cosy, welcoming dog-friendly escape is nestled within 212 acres of idyllic award-winning forest, woodland and wildflower meadow, which you're more than welcome to explore during your stay. In fact, you might find it hard to leave…
Step inside to discover the charming interiors, from the lovely hand-made kitchen and living space, perfect for rustling up delicious meals, to staying cosy by the wood-burner and relaxing on the comfortable sofa. The sunny conservatory is a delight - ideal for those leisurely afternoons getting lost in a good book, with double doors leading out to the blissful garden.
You'll find three lovely bedrooms at Grascott Cottage, some with stunning views across the wonderful forest and over to Dartmoor. Bedroom one has a king-size double bed, with external stone steps to the enclosed garden, bedroom two has a 'zip and link' bed, which can either be made up as a king-size double or twin beds, and bedroom three has twin beds, perfect for children. There is also a shared games-room and play equipment for guests' use, sure to provide many hours of fun!
With its peaceful setting, Grascott Cottage is just perfect for those who wish to truly unwind. This stunning area of north Devon is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, with a blend of unique landscapes and rich cultural heritage. Watch barn owls hunt in the fields in front of your cottage and let this place work its magic. Nestled down a mile long farm track, seclusion and silence envelop you on arrival at the cottage, providing a wonderfully tranquil spot for relaxing. There are three small lakes, cycle paths, nature trails and abundant wildlife to discover, too.
If you wish to get out and about, there's much to discover in this part of Devon. The captivating north Devon coastline with its glorious golden sand beaches of Woolacombe, Westward Ho!, Crackington Haven and Croyde and the oh so picturesque seaside villages of Clovelly and Appledore are within easy reach. The Tarka Trail is nearby, ideal for a leisurely day cycling or walking, as is Ash Moor Nature Reserve. If you fancy exploring a little further afield, Dartmoor makes for a wonderful day out, with its beautiful moorland and lovely towns and villages.
