Grab some fish and chips in the town of Looe, best enjoyed sitting on the Banjo Pier that juts out into the sparkling sea.
Looe Island sits majestically out in the water. Now a nature reserve, open for guided tours.
Visit one of the many gardens in south Cornwall, including the iconic Eden Project.
Historians and garden enthusiasts alike will enjoy a day at Lanhydrock (National Trust) with its historic house, stunning gardens and parkland along with a network of trails that will delight cycling enthusiasts.
A little way down the coast discover the trendy sailing town of Fowey.

The cottage was perfect for. The stairs are steep but not too high. Ceilings are a little low, but this is to be expected in a traditional cottage and was not a problem. Pubs and restaurants in the area are great and the town is not overly busy. The drive fitted 2 cars fairly easily and the seating area at the front is a little sun trap. A couple of the chairs outside were broken and although this couldn’t be remedied during our stay classic cottages keep in touch. There is a very handy bus stop opposite. Even the car park around the corner was very usable and although some feel the daily rate is expensive you can park for the week for £40. We would love to come back again. ...

Thank you for an amazing stay at The Rigging. Such a wonderful place to be in Polperro. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay a comfortable home from home experience. A great base to explore further afield whether on foot, by bus or car.

If you're looking for a place in Polperro this cottage is in the perfect location - a 10 minute walk down to the harbour and directly opposite the bus stop if you want to go further afield. The cottage was very clean and comfortable although we did have a slight issue with flies and there is insufficient hot water for all to shower comfortably, with the en suite shower failing to produce any amount of hot water. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Rigging and would recommend the property....

The Rigging cottage is a beautiful cottage which is well equiped and is perfectly located, its only stones throw away from a popular pub / resurant and a very pleasant 5 minute walk to the harbour of Polperro. Regular buses to Polruan and Looe can be caught from across the road. Due to age of the cottage the ceilings are low and the stairs are narrow but at 6'2" I managed fine ?? ...
