Miss Ryan November 2023
We had a lovely short mid week break at Matilda this November. We were after a cosy stay, just secluded enough to get away from it all, but close enough to some quaint villages that we could venture out and explore. Matilda ticked all of our boxes. We arrived on a rainy evening, made our way through the field quite easily (even in the dark) to find three beautiful little cabins. Matilda was easily recognisable, as Hannah and Tom had kindly got it warm and lit up for us prior to our arrival. We were so comfortable in the cabin - we didn't want for anything, and the quirky medieval decor was a bonus. We were lucky to have two nights of stargazing, and listening to the owls! Hannah and Tom were amazing hosts: they kept us in the loop about conditions on the field in the lead up to our stay, they offered to meet us if we needed help making our way to the cabin, and they checked in on us over text whilst we were there. We felt very well looked after. You can tell that Hannah and Tom really care for what they do and go the extra mile. I can't recommend it enough. We are certainly considering going back for another short break, and I'm even considering booking up for my parents as a gift in the future. Thank you Hannah and Tom for a perfect holiday!...
