The village of Appledore is as pretty as a picture and you can catch a passenger ferry from here to equally lovely Instow.
Take in the views from Hartland Quay and enjoy a drink from the pub.
Hartland village is surrounded by tranquil countryside.
Westward Ho! has a fabulous sandy beach at low tide, ideal for families and surfers.

Absolutely first class accommodations. Much thought and care has gone into the fixtures and fittings, genuinely cannot fault with anything. Lovely helpful owners. Would 100% recommend this cottage to anyone I know.

We absolutely loved the Copps, for its location and comfort, on our arrival it was a nice surprise to find home made scones left for us by Karen the owner. The secluded private garden with the addition of a Hot Tub, that we used daily after our days out touring Devon and Cornwall, was wonderful and relaxing. Karen the owner was very friendly and helpful if we needed anything, nothing was to much trouble and she was very informative about the local area. This was our second stay at The Copps, we enjoyed it so much last year that we stayed for 2 weeks this time. Again, everything was perfect! Karen, the property owner, is so welcoming and friendly and it’s definitely worth asking her about the local area as she has gems of information about local beaches and walks! There are plenty of both in driving distance (dog friendly too!) and places to visit and then you get to come back to the fantastic courtyard and hot tub which is just blissful to ease the aches after walking the rugged coastal path! The property is located in a peaceful lane where all you can hear are birds and maybe the odd sheep. There is everything you need here and more, we spent most of our days out and about until mid afternoon and then coming back to chill and recharge at The Copps. I truly can’t think of anything negative to comment on. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back at some point in the future!...

Excellent holiday cottage. Everything was so thoughtfully laid out, from outlets being in the right place, high quality bedding and towels, and excellent cookware. It was absolutely perfect!
