Fantastic holiday property in a great location. Marazion is a short walk away with the beautiful St. Micheals Mount, (which the property has and unbelievable view of) and places like St. Ives are a short drive or train away. We would come here again and highly recommend....

The accommodation was very well equipped and everything was to a high standard. The location and views were stunning.
We really enjoyed our stay and came away feeling relaxed and refreshed. Thank you! ????????

Great, well appointed property with stunning views of St. Michael’s Mount. Easy walk down to Marazion, right on the SW coast path & perfect base for our family of 5 to explore the far south west.

Third stay now at this wonderful property, the views out over St Michael’s Mount are still amazing. The welcome treat of scones, clotted cream and jam along with milk and tea for a brew on arrival are a lovely touch - not to mention the bottle of bubbles which we enjoyed whilst relaxing in the hot tub after a hard day on the coastal path. Proximity to bus services (the stop is outside) meant we hardly used our car, choosing to explore new ground on public transport and availing ourselves of the capped all day bus fare, just made sense. Booking a table in advance at The Fire Engine for dinner on the day of arrival is also a top tip....

Views from the cottage were beautiful as was the peaceful outside spaces and it is an excellent location for exploring this part of Cornwall. The cottage has two private outside areas south facing with no shade at anytime of day. We requested a parasol/umbrella on arrival, but this was refused and was not to be an expected item as it is not included in Classic Cottage’s “basic inventory”. Noted adjoining properties in the complex had extra large parasols to address this issue. If you book with Classic Cottages, It is worth enquiring about their basic inventory as items you might consider as basic needs (in this case for height of summer) may not be identified as such by this company and they were unwilling to meet our needs. We would not book again with Classic Cottages. There is no outside dining area. Meals had to be eaten on laps. Property would benefit from garden table and chairs for alfresco dining. Noted adjoining properties in the complex had dining table and chairs in outside areas to address this issue. Our mattress protector was found to have a large urine stain on it which was inexcusable and, of course, unhygienic. To be noted and particularly for those with mobility problems, the walk to the sea is 30 minutes on a coastal path to the east and to to the west, and into Marazion and the beach is approx. 20 minutes at a normal pace. The coastal path is closed so only access to town is along a busy road with frequent buses and often no pavement which was not a comfortable walk and and often felt unsafe. We plan many more visits to this area but would not stay at Dreamcatcher again....

Thanks for letting us know about your stay - we're sorry that a parasol isn't provided by the owner at Dreamcatcher Cottage. Unfortunately, this isn't something that forms part of our minimum inventory, and the owners don't provide one due to the exposed coastal location. We're sorry the cottage wasn't quite right for you but appreciate your helpful thoughts and suggestions which we've shared with the owners for their consideration. We hope you enjoyed exploring this beautiful area. Julie, Customer Support ...
