Our stay at Minstrel Cottage was a delight. From the moment we arrived and found the welcome pack of tea, coffee, shortbread, fudge & milk were appreciated, as were the flowers in the living room and the landing, which were a lovely touch. It is a very comfortable and charming cottage with stunning views from every window. The location of the cottage in the heart of the village was superb - a couple of minutes from the Stores and the pub. The weather was glorious as was the beach. Sitting out side at the pub over looking the sea watching the ships go buy was great. The housekeeper is super helpful and easily contactable. No complaints would thoroughly recommend....

Minstrel Cottage is perfectly located on the sea front. It is a minute’s walk from an excellently stocked grocery, pub restaurant and harbour side where you can buy fresh fish, crabs and lobsters. Fish and chips on the quay and coffee and ice cream a mere scamper away from the front door. Blissfull. ...

This is a lovely cottage in a gorgeous location with sea views from all windows. It's in a very convenient location for both the beach and the harbour. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely cottage in a great position in the village. Had the best roast dinner ever with amazing views at the Lifeboat, which would recommend booking in advance, and lovely croissants one morning from the local shop which have to be pre ordered. The lady who runs the shop very friendly and gave lots of tips where to visit etc. Sadly pub was being refurbished so didnt get to try that. Parking no issue when there as we visited end of Feb beginning of March so were able to park outside the cottage. As a previous review says Kitchen is in need of being updated and we found it a bit chilly at times to sit in, this would not stop us staying again, but it would have been nice to be a bit warmer while sitting and eating breakfast. Sofas lovely and comfy as was the master bed. Living room nice and cosy with the log burner. Having breakfast looking at the sea was a treat. Stunning views from the windows when sitting at the dining table and little breakfast table. Cannot see any views when sitting on sofas if this is important to you. Shower noisy but powerful could probably do with being updated as well. Overall would recommend, we had a nice relaxing few days which is exactly what we wanted....

A beautiful, quirky cottage with bags of character. The views are stunning and all rooms were very well appointed. We loved the cottage and would definitely look to book again.
