The little church at Church Cove, made famous by the BBC series Poldark, is a few minutes down the road, with National Trust parking nearby.
Sandy at low tide and lifeguarded in high season plus toilets and a little hut serviing snacks and drinks.
Spend time building sandcastles or pebble towers, dip your toes in the water or surf the waves, the choice is yours.
Pretty Porthleven harbour is only five miles away. This 'foodie destination' has lots of cafes, restaurants and quaint shops.
The Helford River has much to offer the visitor whether you like to explore by foot or on the water.
Kynance Cove is a highlight of the Lizard peninsula.

Coverack Bay has a lovely sandy beach at high tide and a windsurfing school.

It is well equipped for all our needs in all aspects. There are many coastal walks, beaches and places of interest within easy access by car. It was our second visit to this farm, we stayed in the sister cottage, Bullpen, last year. The cottage was beautifully equipped and comfortable, a lovely place to stay. The enclosed garden and patio are a bonus for sunny days. The Lizard is a good base for Cornwall, with plenty to see and do. Highly recommended!...
