The little church at Church Cove, made famous by the BBC series Poldark, is a few minutes down the road, with National Trust parking nearby.
Sandy at low tide and lifeguarded in high season plus toilets and a little hut serviing snacks and drinks.
Spend time building sandcastles or pebble towers, dip your toes in the water or surf the waves, the choice is yours.
Pretty Porthleven harbour is only five miles away. This 'foodie destination' has lots of cafes, restaurants and quaint shops.
The Helford River has much to offer the visitor whether you like to explore by foot or on the water.
Kynance Cove is a highlight of the Lizard peninsula.

Coverack Bay has a lovely sandy beach at high tide and a windsurfing school.

We had a wonderful week staying in The Cow Shed. The property was spotless and very comfortable, with a very well equipped kitchen. Brilliant location to explore The Lizard, with stunning coastal walks and beaches. Our daughter was very keen to see the cows and enjoyed a trip to meet them one evening. Would definitely return for another stay and recommend to friends/family....
