Stable Cottage has French doors that lead out onto a wonderful and really large, lawned garden. The feature pond attracts some amazing birds - do take care with small children though.

The summer-house faces south and looks over the garden - a real sun trap and perfect spot for a barbecue.
The east Devon Jurassic coast and gorgeous Lyme Regis is a really easy drive from Stable Cottage. There are many beaches for great family days out.
There is a large separate utility-room with a further cloakroom.
The kitchen/dining-room is an excellent size for a cottage that accommodates four guests.
Guests have sole use of the summer-house. It faces south to make the most of the sunshine and views across the fabulous garden and the little pond; please take care if you have small children with you.

The driveway up to Ford Farm often has grazing sheep either side of the little lane.
There are many lovely fishing villages and seaside towns along the east Devon Jurassic Coast. So much to explore and fabulous coastal path walks.
Walking along the east Devon Jurassic Coast offers one stunning view after another.
The Regency town of Sidmouth is well worth a visit. There is a wonderful long promenade, and the cliff top cafe and gardens in the picture are a treat at the end of your stroll.

Budleigh Salterton is a truly unspoilt little seaside town. This boat says it all.

Stable cottage is a fantastic place to stay with its large garden and wildlife especially the many various birds. The kitchen is large and fully equipped the beds are comfortable. The area has many good walks most uphill. There are lots of places to visit inland or on the coast including Lyme Regis....

We had a wonderful stay at Stable Cottage and certainly do recommend highly. The property exceeded our expectations in terms of calibre. The cottage oozes charm and character. It is incredibly spacious with a beautiful private garden. The hosts are friendly and were very informative about the county and provided us with great tips. We must also mention that we were very impressed by the booking agency Classic. The booking was undertaken with efficiency from start to finish and the website is of high standard going the extra mile in its descriptions of each individual property let with its accompanying recommendations. We will certainly use again for future bookings and will also return one day to this charming property. Thank You....

We enjoyed our week at Stable Cottage very much. The owners were most welcoming and made it clear that we should contact them if we had any problems. I also have to mention their adorable dog Ginnie who is a delight! The cottage was spacious, warm and comfortable with everything you might need. There is a beautiful, peaceful garden surrounded by open countryside. We enjoyed watching the birds on the feeders near the cottage window and a daily visit to the chickens at the bottom of the garden! We spent more time at the cottage than we would normally do on holiday as we were still cautious about eating out but we really couldn't have had a better place to do so and had an enjoyable and relaxing holiday after what has been a terrible year....
