Bedroom 1 has a comfy five-foot bed and en suite shower-room; it is at the back of the cottage.

This great little play area is a two minute walk from the cottage, it has an enclosed gated-area for small children.
The Tolpuddle Martyrs Museum in the village tells the story of the beginning of the Trades Union Movement, it is free to visit.
This spectacular view is of Chesil Beach, with Portland in the background taken from the Jurassic Coast road between Weymouth and Bridport; fabulous views in both directions.
Nearby Athelhampton House and Gardens are well worth a visit, they have a restaurant there too.
Corfe Castle stands imposingly above the village of Corfe. The Swanage steam railway runs along the side of the village and stops at the little station there.

A very well equipped, homely cottage in a great location. Plenty of space for four adults. The garden also has the sun for most of the day which was a bonus! Would be very happy to stay here again.

Tolpuddle Cottage was in an excellent location for exploring Dorset. The Martyrs Inn, 200 metres away was most welcoming and we enjoyed the food very much. All in all a fantastic week.

Beautiful, well located, cosy cottage. Close to community owned local pub and within easy drive to Dorchester snd Jurassic coast. Classic cottages were excellent in swiftly responding to questions and sorting out things. Would definitely reccomend cottage and would book with Classic Cottages again ...

We didn't purchase this property originally, we got told our originally one was being sold so if we didn't want to lose our holiday, we had to purchase another. Tolpuddle was more money but we didn't have a choice. The staff where very rude via email when asking simple questions about the deposit. Overall we didn't like the experience ...
