The Jurassic Coast is stunning - you might recognise this view from the television series Broadchurch!
Nearby Lyme Regis has something for everyone, Dinosaur and fossil museums, fishing trips, some great cafes, pubs and restaurants, or you may choose just to watch the world go by.
The Axe Valley - travel alongside the wild bird reserve on the tram from Colyton.
Seaton wetlands, enjoy the bird and insect life along the river Axe, only assistance dogs are allowed.

Lovely cottage in excellent location for visiting nearby places of interest. We made use of the very good butchers and fishmongers in the village and also recommend both friendly pubs and the Garden Shop for eating out. We tried them all ! Beer was our favourite place that we visited...

This is an excellent property for a family holiday, there were six of us and a dog and yet we never felt a lack of space. Plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The cottage is clean, comfortable and equipped to a very high standard . The inner courtyard garden is especially useful when you have an escapologist dog like ours, we can have the French door open without worrying the dog has got out , yet again. There is parking for two cars on the driveway, this is very useful with children, especially when you have been to the beach. There are lots of things to do in the surrounding area , or just local walks with the dog. We enjoyed a really lovely holiday there. ...

A second visit to this fabulous property and beautiful area of East Devon did not disappoint. We were blessed with glorious weather - unexpected which was even more of a treat. New places of interest were Powderham Castle, near Exeter and Forde Abbey, near Axminster - fascinating and so welcoming. We also loved the local walks from the cottage which are very accessible.
