A comfortable autumnal short break at Leigh Barn. The setting and wider gardens are stunning. We particularly enjoyed being able to walk to Farm Shop & cafe, as well as several nearby footpaths. A good location for exploring the South Hams area without too much driving....

A beautiful cottage (barn) & gardens, as well as the views from the upper field. The beds were very comfortable & the bed linen was nice quality too (if you don't sleep too well with light in the bedroom, bring an eye mask as the velux windows do allow light in). This cottage is delightful, being furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The cottage is set in a large glorious garden which we were encouraged to enjoy. The owners of the property are very welcoming. However, guests should be aware that the cottage is rather remote with no shop or pub etc. within easy walking distance. ...

Leigh Barn is a stunning peaceful retreat, yet Aune Valley Meat farm shop is just 0.6 miles ( 3 minutes in the car ) and Churchstow is 1.6 miles ( less than 5 minutes in the car ) There is a great village shop and pub here, as well as at Loddiswell, 2 miles away ( just over 5 minutes in the car ) We very much hope to welcome you back in the future. A beautiful, secluded barn in a wonderful setting. Thoroughly enjoyed the extensive well stocked garden and walks in the meadows. It felt a real privilege to stay in such a peaceful, historic place and yet so near to amenities and wonderful areas to visit.
