Mrs Shepherd August 2024

Don’t hesitate to book this little hidden gem on the edge of Exmoor. Close to Haddon hill so you can walk across the moors and spot the ponies and a beautiful view of Wimbleball lake. The cottage and garden was gorgeous and a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the nature all around you. The coast wasn’t far away and the drive across the moors to get there was stunning. You are also close to the adorable Exmoor towns, everyone so friendly and we loved the independent shops there ready to explore. We had a lovely cream tea waiting for us on arrival and treats for our dog to make us all feel welcome. There is nothing Annie and Bruno haven’t thought of to make your stay special, such welcoming and friendly hosts, they are perfect, shame to leave but would love to return one day. Thank you so much!...

I arrived needing rest and received a lovely warm welcome from Annie and Bruno. Peaceful location, spotlessly clean and well equipped with WIFI connection, tucked away in small village in the hills.

Miss Mills August 2024

The property exceeded expectations, in particular the host Annie was very thoughtful adding in extra touches. We enjoyed the beautiful scones with jam and cream and bottle of prosecco left for us on arrival. The surrounding gardens were delightful, full of wildlife and very much like a scene from a painting of an idyllic country meadow. Bampton, Dulverton, Wiveliscombe, Dunster Castle & village all within easy driving distance. Quantocks and Exmoor walks equally accessible & riveting but we were glad to return each evening after the miles to such a homely welcoming cottage. We only hope we have the chance to return one day....

Mrs Bicknell April 2024

We stayed 5 nights at this lovely cottage in April. We were meet by the owner on arrival and welcomed and were left homemade scones, jam and cream and milk.Which were lovely. We liked the location of the cottage, very peaceful, down avery quiet country lane but not hard too find.Lovely to look out over the pond and fields opposite and see lots of wildlife and baby lambs in April. It is a great area to visit with Dulverton nearby for a pub, cafe, fish & chip shop and small supermarket. The cottage was warm and cosy and has everything you need have a relaxing break and our dog loved the big garden and walks nearby at Haddon hill with lovely views.Would love to visit here again. Thankyou....
