Perranporth beach, a little further up the coast.
Porthtowan beach is also just a short drive from Kernel's Barn.
The secure bike store is very handy if you want to bring your own bikes with you, alternatively you can hire from the centre next door.

The Barn is idealy situated for visiting the beach and exploring large parts of Cornwall. It is clean and well equipped and the owners are very friendly. We particularly enjoyed all the animals on the farm. Lovely patio area also.

Fantastic barn conversion. Really good weather and building was warm without any heating (most disappointing as we really wanted to use the log burner!) very friendly owners and animals. Would highly recommend.

Kernal's Barn was perfect. The Barn was so very clean and well equipped. There is nothing to find fault with. The owners where very kind and friendly. They where very kind to my sons and showed them all around the farm, much to my younger sons delight he got to name the two baby calf's that had just been born. We would definitely love to return again. ...
