Lovely property our third time coming back to stay here, beautifully decorated and well kept, so clean and comfortable and very well equipped too.

What a fabulous property, just perfect for our holiday. Our second visit to Burnfoot, one week as a couple the second with our daughters and families. Beautiful setting for a relaxing holiday, with ample internal and external space. The property is extremely comfortable and spacious with attention to detail in the furnishings and equipment. There was nothing we needed that wasn't available. Perfect location to visit both North and South coasts with fantastic coastal paths, beaches and places to visit. A special thank you to Tracey, the housekeeper who was very helpful and accommodating. Excellent holiday ...

Well equipped cottage in peaceful location. Location was ideal to access other southern areas of Cornwall without spending too long in the car.

We have stayed in Burnfoot before (and Gilly Barn next door) both are excellent properties, spacious and comfortable, in a quiet rural location with far reaching views, within easy reach of so many beautiful places to visit. Although they are indeed reached by narrow lanes, you soon get used to them. Tracey the housekeeper is very helpful, she phoned to say we could get in a little earlier if we wished and then again to make sure we had arrived safely and had everything we needed. The cream tea, wine and milk that she had left were very much appreciated and helped us settle in nicely. We didn't get to Caerhays this time, but would definitely recommend to anyone who hasn't been, using the admission voucher kindly left in the cottage. Trelissick Gardens (National Trust) also well worth a visit. We took the short train ride from St Erth to St Ives around the bay, which we have done many times before but never tire of the view, however we suggest going early as it does get busy. We sampled the Sunday carvery at The Fox & Hounds at Comford - not too far from the cottage - one of the best we've ever had, with locally sourced produce. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend either Burnfoot (or Gilly Barn) and very much look forward to future stays. ...

It was lovely to hear how much you enjoyed your return visit to Burnfoot - we'd have to agree that the St Ives branch line journey must be one of the most beautiful train trips in the country, and definitely one for the itinerary! We look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Tanya, Customer Support...

Beautiful house in a peaceful location. Good parking, house well equipped and presented. Local roads not for the faint hearted, but add to the charm. We found the master bed small, did not feel like a king, more cosy. Central location, great for accessing many parts of Cornwall. ...
