The farm is set in a gentle valley about a mile from the little town of Colyton.
Another newly created visitor attraction is the Seaton Wetlands - a peaceful nature reserve which attracts many species of birds.

You can visit the Seaton Wetlands any time but the bird hides are not open every day so do check.
The famous Seaton Tramway is a must! There is a station in Colyton and the route along the Axe Valley is beautiful.
Seaton has a pretty harbour as well as the long pebbled beach.
The coastal town of Seaton is just a few miles away. This is the brand new Jurassic Visitor Centre - a great place to visit with young children.

We would definitely recommend this cottage every tiny detail has been thought out worked well for our family with ages ranging from 7 to 92 Games room was well used as was the clean and well maintained hot tub Fishing lake peaceful Gerrard arms in Colyton served very good food The ship inn at Axmouth also another really good pub Grandkids loved the tram ride into seaton We found fossils at Charmouth and Lyme Regis was a charming town with lots to offer We even managed to organise a tour of the farm with the owner it was fascinating watching them milking the cows and seeing all the calves don’t hesitate booking this property you won’t be disappointed ...

A simply perfect cottage, clean, homely and very comfortable. Very well equipped and the little touches like the fresh flowers on the table on arrival was lovely. The setting on the farm was fantastic too, enjoyed listening to the cows and watching Leo the horse in the field! Beautiful scenery over the countryside and lovely peaceful location away from the busy seaside towns. We had a lovely week, sorry to have to come home!...

A great place to stay in the south east Devon area. Nearby beaches at Sidmouth, Lyme Regis and Exmouth are easy to get to and Budliegh Salterton is an unspoilt town.
