Polkerris is a tiny harbour close to Fowey with a sandy beach as the tide drops back.
The Rashleigh Arms is right by the beach in pretty Polkerris.
Par Sands has plenty of parking right by the sand dunes.
Mevagissey is a quintessential fishing village just a few miles from Fowey.
Heligan Gardens are a short drive away and well worth a visit, especially in the spring.

A very neat and clean little house with a lovely little courtyard garden. Very convenient 5 minute walk to the riverside and shops although very steep, which is to be expected. Parking is provided although you do have to walk a little way along a path to get to it. The furnishings downstairs are perhaps a little dated but in good condition and the bed is quite soft, although the bed in the 2nd bedroom is firmer. Lovely new carpet and curtains. Cannot really fault this property. ...

This property is in a great location very close to the quayside, yet retains it peacefulness in a tranquil position. The parking space is a massive bonus as spaces are very limited outside of the general car parks. We had a brilliant relaxing stay in the cottage and would highly recommend this property...

The property was immaculate, well decorated and perfectly situated. We felt very pampered. Thanks for making it an excellent holiday. Parking spot was ideal too!
