If you want peace, tranquillity, a view to die for, and a well equipped place to stay, look no further. The Song of the Sea had us instantly relaxing. We had a fantastic storm to watch one day, which was EPIC. The surrounding countryside is lush, with gorgeous walks, and places to drive to. Our highlights (other than the apartment itself), were Alpaca walking at the Edgcombe house park, the Cawsand to The Barbican ferry and then an extra 1hr harbour cruise, walking around Cawsand and Kingsand and discovering all the quirky shops at the Barbican....

Beautiful little bolthole with absolutely stunning views, come rain or shine. Ideal location if you want something slightly off the beaten track. We will be returning in the future.

Song of the Sea is a cosy and welcoming apartment with fantastic views across the Sound. Despite inclement weather during our stay, we often had a great time just watching the yachts and ships pass by in the wind and rain! To get to Plymouth, we made full use of the foot ferries, so even though the apartment is across the Tamar, we didn’t find getting into the town difficult at all. We had a lovely time and would recommend the apartment wholeheartedly. ...

Superb, comfortable accomodation. Outstanding sea views.

Mr Hamilton June 2024

This is an amazing apartment. My wife and I recently stayed for a week as we walked some of the SW Coast Path. The apartment itself has amazing views as can be seen in the photos. It is so close to the sea and was so nice to hear the waves. We even saw a seal just in front of us one evening. One complete side of the apartment is glass doors which was so nice. We had great weather when we stayed but I would suspect it would be great to stay in the winter, cosy inside as the waves crash into rocks below. The location is really good, between the Plymouth Cremyll ferry to one side and Kingsand/Cawsand to the other. We really enjoyed walking to Cawsand which had a nice atmosphere in June. So nice relaxing, going for tea or a cold beer, and then walking back along the coast path. The apartment if is in private grounds and very quiet. The apartment was very clean, very comfortable, very well equipped. I can't think of anything to fault it on. Very much recommend this apartment. I hope we can come back again some day......
