All of our cottages have a standard list of equipment that goes above and beyond. As well as fluffy towels and readymade beds, our bare minimum includes everything you’ll need and more, from plenty of teaspoons to added extras such as gravy boats so no matter where you stay, you’ll be able to make your favourite home-cooked dishes.
Each inventory is regularly checked and counted so you won’t be stuck without a ladle and can leave your hairdryer at home, plus you’ll find a starter set of toiletries and cleaning products so you can get on with your holiday.

Dartmoor is one of the last true wildernesses you'll find in southern England. A few days spent here losing yourself in the quiet of the moors will remind you how good it feels to get away from it all, while the bustling market town of Tavistock and the pretty village of Buckfastleigh provide pleasant diversions.

A pet friendly area with the largest open space in southern England – Dartmoor National Park, and even part of Exmoor lies within the Devon’s county boundaries – so bring your dog. Use your dog as an excuse to get out and about in the fresh air and absorb some cultural heritage as Dartmoor has some of the best archaeological sites in western Europe. It’s near enough the south coast of Devon for a day trip to the sea, but has corners that feel utterly remote for a proper get-away in the west country.
