Park in the car park at St Anthony Head and you can take either a short, level walk there and back to the Stile above Porthbeor Beach or venture further for on a four and a half mile jaunt. The coastal path will take you around the headland (you just can't miss the stunning views) taking in the battery observation post and ramparts. Carry on along the path to Porthbeor Beach (no access due to storm damage) and above the beach take the short link path to the road into Bohortha. Continue to the lane near Place House and pick up the coastal path again back to the car park. There are no facilities on this walk but it is great for kids who can see the lighthouse and wartime features. Good for dogs but do take care on cliff sections. You can also catch the ferry from st Mawes to Place and start the walk from there. Back to top
