A long four mile shingle beach with no sand in sight, so whilst you won't be building sandcastles you can enjoy clear waters and great views towards Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters. You'll find a good number of cafes close by and a cycle path which runs along the back of the beach. Parking is usually available on nearby side roads. Volunteer lifeguards patrol the area during summer months and there is a seasonal dog ban on the central section of the beach only.
