Cottages near Chapel Porth

Located in an area rich with history, the old buildings and mines dotted around Chapel Porth are a reminder of its past. Encompassed by wild, rugged scenery, the beach itself varies hugely depending on the tides. Whilst huge tracts of sand are revealed at low tide, at high tide the sea returns to leave only a small strip of stone and shingle. Chapel Porth Beach is lifeguarded in summer and a seasonal dog ban applies. There is a National Trust cafe and toilets. Read less
