Surrounded by open countryside and set in an archetypal cottage garden complete with a large pond (please take care with children), Blackberry Cottage is attached to the Owners’ main house, but is completely private. It has its own hedged lawn with a brick-built, gas-fired barbecue and a rose garden approached by a path under a pergola, with an additional fully enclosed garden to the side. Equidistant between the north and south coasts, there are several sandy beaches, the Cathedral City of Truro, three golf courses and two National Trust properties all within a twenty minute drive. The cottage has a multi-burner in the sitting-room, which has a low, beamed ceiling – those over six feet beware! The kitchen has tiled worktops and is fitted in light oak, and the ground floor bedroom has use of the shower-room while the first floor bedroom has its own en suite bathroom. Floral bed linen and co-ordinating curtains enhance the quintessentially traditional feel of this delightful little retreat.
