Embrace nature with a stay in this most magical setting, a beautiful handcrafted treehouse complete with an al fresco bathtub, set in tranquil woodland and surrounded by nature, deep in the heart of the Welsh countryside.

From the moment you arrive you will be enchanted. This blissful hideaway is simply fabulous and has been carefully handcrafted by the owner to offer luxurious comfort throughout the seasons. From the waking of the birds at dawn to the stirrings of woodland animals at dusk, this unique treehouse will give you a connection to nature like no other, welcome to Ty Coedwig!

Inside the treehouse is sublime, as it has been crafted with an eye for exquisite detail and rustic charm. The open plan living space is cleverly created with a cosy sitting area and a well equipped kitchen, with a handy breakfast-bar, as well as a sweet dining-area. Sliding doors lead into the gorgeous bedroom, with a king-sized bed and floor to ceiling views of the forest. Here you can listen to the gentle rustling of the leaves as you fall asleep. The luxurious shower-room sits just next to the bedroom, and boasts a double sink as well as a double shower and a large window that warmly welcomes the outside in.

A balcony leads off the sitting-area and this gorgeous spot is just the place for relaxing in the tree canopy, as you admire your surroundings while sipping your morning coffee. Fancy a spot of outdoor bathing? Head for the al fresco bathtub, where you can have a leisurely soak whilst listening to birdsong.

For the young at heart, engage your sense of adventure and take to the slide or spend time swaying between the trees on the picturesque wooden swing. The outside space also includes a fire-pit barbecue, so don't forget marshmallows to toast! And as the sun sets, watch the shadows fall as you turn on the twinkling lights. You really will feel like you are living in a fairytale during your stay at this enchanting treehouse.

Whether you plan to spend your days relaxing in your idyllic surroundings, or fancy exploring further afield, a stay at Ty Coedwig will create lasting memories to cherish forever.

Powys truly does have so much to offer. A short drive from Ty Coedwig, Powis Castle is one of the area's most captivating landmarks. Steeped in history, the dramatic castle peers over a beautiful garden which hosts a lovely cafe, the perfect spot for a mid-morning treat. Another historic landmark nearby is Montgomery Castle which sits just above the lovely market town of Montgomery, home to lots of quirky independents.

For a wilder experience, head to nearby Llyn Coed y Dinas Nature Reserve. Formally a gravel pit, this beautiful habitat supports a myriad of wildlife. Or if you prefer a woodland walk, why not visit Hafren Forest for a stroll through the trees that lead to breathtaking waterfalls.

The Glyndwr's Way walking trail calls for days spent soaking up Powys' stunning landscapes. From mountains to tumbling hills, there are many fantastic routes to explore and places to sit and have a picnic, so don't forget your walking boots!

Powys is also home to an abundance of welcoming pubs. At the nearby Dolau Inn, you can sink into the 19th Century setting and enjoy a delicious selection of home-cooked food and drink amidst a local atmosphere (please note the pub is cash only). Or why not pop into Newtown and visit Brew Hub? This artisan brewery is a great spot to listen to live music while enjoying a couple of local ales.
