Situated in the charming village of Churston Ferrers, located perfectly between numerous villages and towns, you have so many attractions and hotspots at your disposal. It is just a five-minute drive into Brixham with its beautiful harbour, famous fish market and fish restaurants. Brixham has so much to offer to all generations, all year round. From numerous top class restaurants to charming and quirky coffee shops, along with traditional fishermen's watering holes.

Take a meander around the stunning harbour and head to the superb Blue Flag Breakwater beach. This is a fantastic spot for a picnic, followed by a spot of rock pooling along with a healthy helping of ice cream from the beach cafe/kiosk.

Slightly further afield you have the very popular towns and villages of Torquay, Paignton, Totnes, Dartmouth and Salcombe - all of which have something very special to offer. It would be a shame to not visit these beautiful places, so why not venture over to Torquay on the Western Lady ferry or take the 'Round Robin' trip (seasonal) of the bay. Both are fabulous family days out and a great way to explore this part of the world. Starting in Paignton, visiting Dartmouth and Totnes via steam train, river boat and bus is a great way to enjoy these special places without having to worry about traffic, parking or anything bar relaxing and enjoying yourself.

Alternatively, take a short ferry ride to the naval town of Dartmouth (or go by steam train from nearby Churston Station!). The villages of Dittisham and Stoke Gabriel are also a must! Indeed, there is so much to explore in the vicinity of Camellia Cottage; a walker's paradise with river and coastal walks galore.

A great day trip which is right on your doorstep is to venture to Greenway House and visit Agatha Christie's home. You can either eat in the cafe or cross to Dittisham by romantic boat to either the Anchorstone cafe (David Dimbleby's favourite cafe!) or The Ferry Boat Inn.

For sun and sand, visit nearby Broadsands Beach (with its impressive beach cafes) or the more secluded Elberry Cove. For sun lovers, another favourite day out is Blackpool Sands just outside of Dartmouth. Most beaches have kayaking or paddle boarding equipment to hire, which is perfect for the water lovers of the group.

Generally, the area boasts the very best in amusement and attraction, complemented by some extremely delectable and award-winning pubs, cafes, and restaurants. Seafood lovers are spoilt for choice, from traditional fish and chips at Mitch Tonks' Rockfish restaurants (Brixham and Dartmouth) to Simply Fish, Shoals, the Anchorstone Cafe and The Seahorse.

For the little ones you have Paignton Zoo, River Dart Country Park, Pennywell Farm and Woodlands Family Theme Park within easy reach, all guaranteed to provide that fun-packed family day out.

All in all, this stunning property and fabulous location will leave you wanting to return time after time. Whichever direction you choose to head in, you will be truly spoilt. This superbly stylish cottage will be a luxury holiday retreat you'll find yourself returning to year after year.
