Instantly relax into your holiday and breathe in the sea air, The Shack is the perfect holiday getaway. Overlooking the waters of the Solent, start your mornings on the front deck admiring the view whilst deciding how to spend your day. Situated on Gurnard Marsh just a few short miles from Cowes, it's a lovely location to enjoy all that the Island has to offer.

The light and airy living space is open plan with double doors to both the front and rear decked areas. The Velux windows flood the room with natural light and make this a warm and welcoming space. The first bedroom has doors to the rear decked area, throw the doors open and enjoy breakfast in bed. The second bedroom is cosy with a comfy double bed. The shower-room is perfect for those sandy toes moments.

Stepping out onto the rear decking, which has outdoor dining furniture, you find the ideal space for al fresco dining on those warm summer evenings. The enclosed garden is mainly laid to lawn and reached down a few steps.

The views from the sea wall in Gurnard allow for some of the best sunsets on the island. With the level promenade taking you to Gurnard Beach and Cowes town centre you have plenty to explore from the door.

You are spoilt for choice for places to dine on the Island, many places serve locally-caught fish and with plenty of locally-sourced produce there is something for everyone. Cowes has a huge choice of cafes and restaurants - closer to The Shack are The Woodvale and The Portland Inn, both with outdoor seating areas. The beach at Gurnard is shingle and is lined by traditional beach huts, the perfect place for an evening stroll.

The Isle of Wight has some amazing coastline, woodland and nature reserves to explore by foot, car or bicycle. With castles galore the history of the Island is fascinating - save a day to immerse yourself in one of these historic homes. You are sure to find a favourite spot that will make you want to return again and again.
