The sea beckons you as you wind your way along the country lanes to arrive at the idyllic hamlet of Trenowin, tucked away on the breathtaking Cornish coast. Sleeping eight lucky guests, here you will discover the magical Mordros waiting to welcome you. Mordros is a Cornish word for the sound of the sea, aptly named and very much in keeping as you have the north, south and west coasts all nearby.

Arrive and take four steps down to the front door. The entrance hallway is warm and inviting creating a sense of calm to ensure that you have the most comfortable of stays.

Sink into the large comfy sofas in the sitting-room, watching a holiday movie or playing a board game together. The younger guests will adore having their own space and can retreat to the snug which is next door.

The kitchen/dining-room will soon become the heart of the home, it is the epitome of country living and the perfect space for lazy lunches or sociable suppers all served up on the traditional farmhouse dining-table.

After a busy day exploring head up the rather grand staircase to the four bedrooms where you will enjoy luxury linens, and views over the garden or the surrounding countryside and out to sea; it's simply idyllic!

You have two fabulous family bathrooms at Mordros, one located on the ground floor, and one on the first floor.

You're sure to be spending plenty of time outside with a choice of places to unwind in the sunshine. Step out of the French doors to find the patio, with a dining-table and chairs for suppers al fresco, there is a steep step down to the large lawn area - perfect for picnics and garden games. As you drive into Mordros you will see a cabin at the far left-hand side of the driveway located behind a fence, the cabin is lived in by the discreet owners. They will need to access the cabin via the driveway; however, every effort is made to ensure this is very private to your holiday.

Positioned between the north and west coast, your location is simply perfect. We're sure you'll head over to St Ives, a picture-perfect seaside town crammed full of fabulous restaurants, coffee shops and independent boutiques. Oh, and of course those white sand beaches and unbelievably blue seas.

Marazion is a short drive away. Why not make a day of it and visit the iconic St Michael's Mount where you can walk along the causeway at low tide and catch the ferryboat when the tide is high. Enjoy a home-made cream tea in one of the many cafes dotted around. Don't forget jam first! You are in Cornwall after all.

Mousehole is a twenty-minute car ride away and is an utterly charming harbourside village, steeped in history and pretty as a picture. If you do explore further afield head along the coast towards stunning Lamorna Cove or perhaps Porthcurno beach, overlooked by the majestic Minack Theatre where you can watch plays and musicals with the mighty Atlantic as a backdrop (book ahead, it's a popular spot!).

However, you plan to spend your blissful holiday days, Mordros is the perfect base for a Cornish holiday.
