Little Lanherne Farm Cottage

A beautiful cottage close to the golden shores of Mawgan Porth and set in the heart of the verdant countryside with views out over the rolling countryside and coast path - a true slice of tranquility.

Arriving in this peaceful setting, you park up and step down into the sunny sheltered patio, which is such a sun-trap in the afternoons, over the threshold and drop your bags. The entrance hall leads to a beautiful kitchen/diner which has everything you need. The owners have thought of everything in the kitchen including that all-important fresh coffee machine to make your perfect flat white in the mornings (don't forget your favourite ground coffee if you wish to use the coffee machine). In the cooler months enjoy long relaxing meals in front of the flicking flames of the wood-burner. Windows look out over the owners' pretty courtyard which they do not use so this is very private for you too.

Step up into the sitting-room which is the perfect spot to lounge with a good film after a day on the beach, the cosy sofa awaits you. The owners have left a collection of books for you to enjoy - there is nothing better than catching up on your reading on holiday. There is also a handy desk should you need to work on holiday.

Upstairs there are two beautiful bedrooms and the family bathroom. The first bedroom at the top of the landing has a comfortable double bed and has been finished beautifully with rich linens and warming tones throughout. Down the landing (please watch your head on the sloping ceiling) you will find the second bedroom which is decorated in a warming yellow and beautifully colourful throws. This bedroom can be set up as twins or a super-king bed depending on your needs. There is a spacious family bathroom at the end of the landing with a large walk-in shower and luxurious free-standing bath, what a treat. There is also a second shower-room on the ground floor which is perfect after a day on the beach.

The outside space at Little Lanherne Farm Cottage is lovely; just outside the front door is the sheltered and sunny patio that catches the afternoon sun. Enjoy a sundowner while your party cooks up a treat on the barbecue. You can also enjoy wondering through the paths of the little meadow adjoining the cottage which is filled with beautiful flora and fauna. Little Lanherne Farm Cottage is found through narrow leafy lanes and close to the pretty village of St Mawgan and the sandy beaches of the north coast.
