KingWelcome to Cwt (meaning 'hut' in Welsh) Mari, a cosy cabin for two tucked away in the serene north Wales countryside. Close to the magic of Snowdonia National Park, this is the perfect antidote to a busy city life; feel your shoulders drop and your worries melt away as you arrive in this glorious setting.
Step inside to discover your delightful, handcrafted open plan living space. Here you'll find a king-size double bed, dressing table, and a dining-table and chairs. This is just the cosiest spot to sit back and unwind, whether you're visiting in the summertime or in the depths of winter. There's a sweet kitchenette, with a sink, kettle, mini fridge, toaster and microwave - perfect for preparing simple holiday meals or packing up a picnic for a day out and about. There's also an en suite shower-room at the back of the cabin.
Outside, the spacious decking area, surrounded by woodland, is a wonderful spot to soak up the peace and tranquility all around; whether you're enjoying a few moments to yourself with your morning coffee or spending warm summer nights dining al fresco. You'll find a gas barbecue for all your cooking needs and a bubbling hot tub on the decking too, perfect for those magical evenings. Oh, and you might be able to spot red kites and buzzards overhead!
Please note, there's another cabin on-site, Cwt Elsi (5434), but you will have plenty of privacy during your holiday.
North Wales is packed full of incredible scenery and all the outdoor adventures you could wish for; whether you fancy climbing mountains in Snowdonia or exploring the coastline. The enchanting Gwydir Forest Park is within easy reach, pull on your walking boots and set off to roam the countryside and soak up your serene surroundings. If you're craving a day by the sea, you'll find long stretches of sand and seaside towns nearby, including Conwy - where you can explore the World Heritage Site, Conwy Castle, and enjoy a drink at a quayside pub.
This part of the world is dotted with oh so charming towns and villages. The delightful town of Llanrwst nearby is worth a visit, with its picturesque 17th Century bridge, as is Betws-y-Coed, known as the gateway to Snowdonia and nestled in an enchanting setting. The lovely village of Llangernyw within easy reach, and here there's a cosy inn - perfect for supper perched next to the roaring fire. What could be better?!
Alternatively, you can pick up a wood-fired pizza to enjoy back at your cabin. And if you fancy a thrilling adventure, head to Zip Forest Adventure Park, which is home to the world's fastest zip line, a treetop adventure and the Forest Coaster ride. Phew!
